New equipment means better service

We are pleased to announce that we now have CNC CAD/CAM capability. This means that we can now design and build our guitars completely in house from 3D CAD models and will ensure that our clients get even greater involvement in their commission, should they want us to work from their own design.

At the same time it means that we will be able to produce very high quality custom built guitars with a range of options and price points, that should suit every pocket. We can even supply a "Black Carbon" kit for self build enthusiasts!

Black Carbons fantastic new guitar is a clever beast!

The "Super 6" looks great. It sounds fantastic as well thanks to  the excellent choice of materials such as mahogany and rosewood and the very high quality "Bare Knuckle" pickups, but that's not all, this guitar is pretty clever as well.

The brief here was simple, to design a guitar that is small enough to travel really easily, yet still pack some serious acoustic punch and the "Super 6" does not disappoint.

It's overall length is just 850mm, which means that when travelling with a soft case, it should be no problem as hand luggage on a plane, yet we've still managed to pack a scale length of 650mm ensuring plenty of finger space for high speed fretwork at the upper range of the fret board. The fret board incidentally allows complete access to the 24th fret, so even the most demanding solos are possible. Additionally the longer scale length provides greater resonance, contributing significantly to the overall tonal performance of the guitar, which also offers superb sustain.
